ImportSampleManipulation

ImportSampleManipulation[filePaths]primitives

given filePaths to an excel file(s) of the appropriate format, will return a corresponding list of Sample Manipulation primitives.

ImportSampleManipulation[cloudFiles]primitives

given cloudFiles to an excel file(s) of the appropriate format, will return a corresponding list of Sample Manipulation primitives.

ImportSampleManipulation[rawData]primitives

given rawData corresponding to an excel file(s) of the appropriate format, will return a corresponding list of Sample Manipulation primitives.

ImportSampleManipulation[inputs]primitives

given inputs of the appropriate format, will return a corresponding list of Sample Manipulation primitives.

ImportSampleManipulation is a way of creating Sample Manipulation Primitives from an Excel file specifically for loading samples into a plate. There are two main formats of excel files which are accepted; Simple and Main. The simple format allows for the generation of Transfer primitives while the Main format allows for the generation of Transfer, Wait, FillToVolume, Incubate, Mix, Aliqout, Consolidation, and ReadPlate primitives. In the Requirements, Options, and Example Files section below there is a table of what is required and what is optional for each format. The Main Format Template section gives a quick template which can be followed.

Instrumentation

    Hamilton STARlet

It is capable of processing plate operations including incubation, shaking, and magnetic bead separation on-deck and centrifugation, filtration, and absorbance/fluorescence/luminescence measurement off-deck, with a robot arm facilitating the plate movements.

Experiment Options

    General

    ReadDirection

Specifies whether the primitives will be generated row by row or column by column.
    Default Value: Row
Default Calculation: Automatically resolves to generating primitives row by row.
    Pattern: Row | Column
